Superb BBC radio recordings made by the Yardbirds during the vintage years 1965 to 1968. Jeff Beck is on guitar with Keith Relf (vocals) while Jimmy Page crops up on the later sessions. Top engineers captured the pure sound of the young R&B band at its most enthusiastic. Most of these sessions were recorded for a show called ‘Saturday Club’ and the original tapes were erased. These recordings, complete with interview spots with Relf and Page, were rescued from a syndicated radio show and are absolutely priceless.
