Within six months, three singles culled from the LP made the UK charts: ‘The Number One Song In Heaven’ (No. 14), ‘Beat The Clock’ (No. 10) and ‘Tryouts For The Human Race’ (No. 45), continuing the success of their inimitable, timeless and bizarre style of pop.
