KonoSuba: An Explosion on This Wonderful World! – Vol. 1

A year before she joins Kazuma’s chaotic party, Megumin is still a student in the village of the Crimson Demon Clan. The self-proclaimed greatest genius of her people has just one goal: to master Explosion magic – even though everyone else advises her to pick more useful spells. The spin-off tells her backstory with KonoSuba’s trademark humour.

Vol. 1 contains episodes 1 to 4: Megumin’s everyday life at school, her quirky rivalry with Yunyun and her first steps on the road to the big explosion.
