BOFURI – Vol. 1

Kaede actually only wanted to try out the VRMMORPG “NewWorld Online” as a favour to her friend. Since she has no interest in feeling pain, as player Maple she pours every single point into defence – and with this quirky tactic she develops into a near-invulnerable phenomenon that leaves the entire player base in awe.

Vol. 1 contains episodes 1 to 4: Maple’s first steps in the game, her unusual skill discoveries and the start of her reputation as a walking fortress. A cheerful, laid-back game fantasy packed with situational comedy.
